deviationとdevianceの意味の違いに悩む･･･

deviation

ん？何が違うんだ？
逸脱論の本の中ではdevianceがよく登場する。かといってdeviationが使われないわけじゃない。上の定義をみる限り、意味の違いとしては、devianceはstateが使われ、deviationはvariationが使われている所くらいか。

devianceには「逸脱」という定訳がある。deviationの方は逸脱というよりも標準偏差(standard deviation)だとか計量でよく見かける単語。deviationが本や論文の題として出てくることはあんまりないな、そういや。

と思いきや、Lemertがこんなん書いてた･･･

いや、そもそも「第一次逸脱」と翻訳されるのはprimary deviationじゃん。よく考えれば逸脱論でもキータームとして普通に使う用語だった。そうすると、やっぱりdeviationには動的なものが入り、devianceは静的なのかな･･･やっぱりわかんないなぁ。
