山田五郎さんのYouTubeでマネはぽっちゃり好きで、ベルト・モリゾは痩せているという話があった。その時モリゾの写真が出たのだが、痩せているにも程があるだろうと調べてみると、やはり拒食症だったようだ。
鎖骨が写っているいれば一目瞭然なのだが、腕の感じとか頬の感じとか肩の感じとか、かなり痩せている印象を受ける。

Morisot was anorexic and at times fainted in front of the painting she was working on. After the birth of her daughter 1878 Berthe finally felt true joy. Her body rejuvenated and the dark circles under her eyes vanished.
モリゾは拒食症で、制作中の絵の前で気絶してしまうこともあったという。
モリゾはどうやら制限型であったようだ。
絵を描きながら気絶、というのは、電解質異常から貧血になり失神をするケースだと推測できる。
